Resume Coaching and Writing for STEM professionals

“They held a one-on-one meeting to help me revise my resume. After I step-by-step followed their guidance, one week later, my very first interview; another week later, my first on-site interview. I am so grateful to Scismic for helping me value my skillsets and achievements from the biotech industry’s point of view.”

Got Questions?

If you teach a man to fish…. We recommend the coaching.  You will learn the skills you need to tailor your resume not just for this job, but throughout your career.  However, if you are in a hurry, or don’t have a lot of time to dedicate to the learning process, you might prefer the “just do it” option.

We have extensive experience working with talent in STEM fields. Our team includes PhDs and Masters level STEM professionals with backgrounds in immunology, environmental science, chemistry, molecular biology, data science, software engineering, biotech, and pharmaceuticals. We work with hiring managers, talent scouts and founders in the life sciences who struggle to find the right employees and tell us frequently what they want to see from applicants.

We work with candidates of all levels – from Bachelor’s to PhD’s, from entry-level to director-level positions.

Yes. What we know best is working with hiring managers in the United States.  Europe and other countries have different resume requirements, which we are less familiar with and so wouldn’t be a good fit.

On average, candidates we’ve worked with have received more interviews.  Although we can’t guarantee any specific results, if you are unhappy for any reason, let us know, we will give you a refund.

You will get the most out of a coaching session if you come prepared with an editable version of your existing resume and the job description of a job you want to apply to. You should also schedule your meeting for a time when you have no distractions and can easily take notes and make real time changes.  You will be asked to share your screen as you make changes, so a computer is preferable to a cell phone.

Your chances of being interviewed improve dramatically when you tailor your resume to highlight your skills that match the needs of the hiring manager. Without understanding what role you are aiming to apply to, our team can’t craft a resume that will get you results.

If you are interested, but can’t afford it, contact us.  We’ll work with you on a case by case basis.

Please contact us if you still have questions.  We are happy to help.
